Recession Proof Business for Survival

For the most, I believe small businesses deserve to starve. Why am I so harsh? The reason is that when I make a purchase from a business no one sends me a thank you card or recognises my efforts in supporting them.

In other words, rather than put some effort in keeping me as a customer and recession proof business, they would rather spend money on finding a new customer.  Instead of planning how to keep customers and make more profit from existing customers, business owners waste money on advertising for new ones.

The Evolution of the Credit Scorecard

No longer do financial institutions rely on outside vendors for the development of the credit scorecard. Technological advancements have made internal efforts all the more convenient.

Credit risk comes as a given for credit card companies and other financial institutions. Yes, these financial institutions deal with credit risk practically every single work day they operate. Obituary-the Death Of Seo

It is with a heavy heart that I bring you the news that SEO (Search Engine Optimization) has died an untimely death. I am not saying that you should not due some basic SEO for the main keywords on your website, What I am saying is that SEO does not hold the power that it once had. Being a caregiver

Following is part two of an interview with Phyllis Slater, owner of Slater Solutions LLC.  Ms. Slater has devoted years to providing coaching and concierge services to the working caregiver and aging parent.  Visit Phyllis Slater’s website at EldercareConcierge.Blogspot.com.

Q. Is caregiving a rewarding career?

A. Yes, I have a creative personality and passion to find solutions. Working for others did not provide that freedom, which was a trade-off for security. Eight years ago I started my own business helping seniors to downsize their home, pack and unpack for relocation, and organize the home for ease of movement. This process is more than just packing and unpacking. Now the family can learn how to properly do these tasks for themselves by hiring me for coaching sessions over the telephone.
